I cannot POST due to Closed Call Rules not being satisfied. . . . What do I do?


The chart DOES NOT require a certain validity score to POST to Elite Web.    Remember POSTING and FINISHING are not the same.   POSTING moves the chart to the server.   Marking the chart FINISHED is when you are ready to lock the chart and push it to billing. 


Closed Call Rules must be satisfied before the chart will POST to Elite Web.   These rules are identified by clicking on the validity score at the bottom of Elite Field and searching for any issue with a ghostbuster sign to the left of the arrow (see image below).

 

To resolve a closed call rule related to time please do the following:

1.  If you do not have a CAD available the Unit Notified Time is required.

1.  If the CAD has been downloaded or you have entered all times make sure of your times are in order in the Times section.

2.  Make sure you do not have a clinical entry that is outside of your clinical time (the time you told the system you touched the patent until you turned care over at the receiving)

3.  If you have a PTA entry make sure you have indicated that an Other Healthcare Provider or Other Pre-Hospital Personnel complete the procedure/task not the crew.
